A Sustainable Way to Enjoy the Winter Olympics

Winter Olympics:

Across two weekends in January, Energy Floors provided a bespoke brand activation for the 66th FIS Ski World Cup in Switzerland.

THE REQUEST

G&P Creative Agency commissioned by BKW contacted us as they were seeking an interactive experience for visitors to enjoy whilst skiing. The activation had to be able to operate across multiple event locations, and be fully operational in cold weather conditions.

THE SOLUTION

We provided them with a unique and mobile Photo Experience Booth, consisting of three experiential marketing activities activated by our kinetic energy floors:
  1. A photobooth – allowing you to create a human-powered selfie.
  2. An energy quiz – posing questions on all things sustainability.
  3. And a fan favourite slalom ski game where players controlled digital skiers on screen by jumping on the kinetic floor modules.
In addition, this project allowed us to deliver our first activation in sub-zero temperatures. We are pleased to have built our first waterproof touchscreen display, alongside an internal heating system built within the experience booth to ensure its complete functionality.
