From Farm to Food: the European commission exhibits at the Paris International Agricultural Show.
THE REQUEST
Energy Floors were contacted by Sirena Events Agency to provide an interactive floor activation for their client, the European Union. The activation had to link to their theme of sustainability in agriculture.
The agency provided us with two game ideas, where visitors typically played via touchscreen.
They asked us to upgrade the experience with energy floors in a way that will engage the public.
THE SOLUTION
Energy Floors adapted the game design to be controlled by our kinetic floors.
The first game is a simulation of a drone over a field whereby users must step on the kinetic floor tiles to water the sparse and dry areas of a field. The more steps on the energy floors help to maintain the on-screen water levels.
For the second game, players must destroy bad bacteria in an interactive fridge by coordinating the correct coloured floor tiles with the images on screen.
The booth is a perfect example of creative ideas we implement with our floors at trade shows. It is also an example of experiential marketing to engage consumers through gamification.
The expo runs for 9 days from the end of February to March 2022. Visitors can also taste organic products from all over Europe.
