During the London 2012 Summer Olympics we worked with Électricité de France (EDF), the official partner and electricity supplier of the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.
EDF wanted visitors to discover the ‘Magic of Electricity’ in their Olympic Park Pavilion. The aim was to show the brightest innovations, give tips on managing energy and demonstrate how electricity is generated.
We provided the tools for the ‘Energy Games’. Visitors were invited to dance on our Sustainable Kinetic Dancefloor modules and use our Energy Hand Pedals.
When visitors engage in the games, electricity is generated which powers a spectacular light installation powered by LEDs. There were also energy meters on screens which show how much energy is being generated.
