BMW i3 x Berlin Marathon

The BMW i3 was the official lead vehicle for all German marathons in 2015.

With our energy generating floor we helped BMW charge the vehicle with human power.

BMW wanted the audience of German marathons to be part of the runs. They asked them to share their energy on the ‘Electric
Avenue’. This Avenue, located at BMW marathon booths throughout Germany, was filled with our kinetic energy floor tiles.

The public was invited to generate energy with their footsteps, in order to power the BMW i3 for the entire marathon distance.
